Born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area, Torrey Taylor is a familiar face to many. He has been an active member of the local community throughout his life whether playing sports or volunteering with several Bay Area churches and other organizations.

Torrey played baseball for Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2012. During his time at Stetson, Torrey volunteered many hours with the Community Law Program, a non-profit corporation founded in 1989 by members of the St. Petersburg Bar Association to provide free civil legal services to low-income individuals in Pinellas County. As a lawyer, Torrey has handled many jury trials and non-jury trials, and has represented numerous clients including individuals, small businesses, Fortune 500 corporations, and governmental entities. His work has resolved cases awarding millions of dollars for his clients in areas of law such as personal injury, breach of contract, and real estate matters.

A lifelong resident of Pinellas County, Torrey remains in Clearwater with his family. In his downtime, he enjoys rooting for the local sports teams, live music, and traveling.
